Re: [riminilug-general] errore
Dell'errore ne hanno parlato sulla mailing list Suse. In sostanza,
dicono si tratti solo di un problema puramente 'cosmetico' (cito alla
lettera). Nonostante la scritta FATAL che può far pensare a qualcosa di
grave, in realtà così non è.
Se vuoi far sparire il messaggio, basta che aggiungi ad
|/etc/hotplug/blacklist
hw_random.
Ciao,

P.S. Questo è quanto riporta la ML Suse:
|modprobe: FATAL: Error inserting hw_random
Symptom
With boats you see the following error message:
scanning pci: **** modprobe: FATAL:
Error inserting hw_random
(/lib/modules/2.6.4-52-default/kernel/drivers/char/hw_random.ko):
NO look for DEVICES
From it however everything seems refrained to function well.
A cause
It actually concerns a purely cosmetic problem. The processor of your
computer gives to have, hardware a random DEVICE, which however not the
case is. With the attempt the appropriate Kernel module (|hw_random|) to
load, takes place then the error message which can be observed.
This looks because of the word |FATAL:| causing concern, however nothing
different one reports, than that that failed shop of the module.
Solution
If you liked to ignore this message not in the long term, you can add
the following |/etc/hotplug/blacklist| line in the file also:
hw_random
Automatic shop of the module - and thus also the irritating error
message - is prevented by this change.
