Ho fatto anch'io diverse ricerche... ho trovato diverse richieste di
aiuto sul problema segnalato ma nessuna risposta esauriente.

Once the local device has been idle for 2 seconds, it is internally
un-mounted, so that there's no data lingering around in buffers, and the
filesystem is sync'd properly. Even though the device isn't mounted, the

A user certainly shouldn't be pulling the usb stick out in the middle of
saving a document, but once the save operation is finished, only 2

A questo punto *sembra* che non sia necessaria l'operazione di umount
della penna USB, ma sia semplicemente "smontata" in automatico dopo 2
secondi dal suo utilizzo ?!

O meglio, le operazioni di scrittura sul device usb vengono eseguite e
completate subito entro 2 secondi (scusate il linguaggio approssimativo
e poco tecnico) e quindi è poi possibile scollegare la penna senza
problemi sul file system.

In generale, dal punto di vista elettrico non dovrebbero esserci
problemi a scollegare la penna in qualsiasi momento, anche se questa
fosse effettivamente ancora montata... gli unici problemi si avrebbero
sulla consistenza del file system, se le operazioni di scrittura non
sono state correttamente completate. (correggetemi pure se ho detto una
cavolata)
