samuele:/home/samuele# hdparm -d1 -W1 -c1 -m16 -X70 /dev/hdb

/dev/hdb:
 setting 32-bit IO_support flag to 1
 setting multcount to 16
 setting using_dma to 1 (on)
 HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted
 setting xfermode to 70 (UltraDMA mode6)
 HDIO_DRIVE_CMD(setxfermode) failed: Input/output error
 setting drive write-caching to 1 (on)
 multcount    = 16 (on)
 IO_support   =  1 (32-bit)
 using_dma    =  0 (off)

ho provato a ridurre il valore di -X, sono riuscito con -X68

samuele:/home/samuele# hdparm -d1 -W1 -c1 -m16 -X66 /dev/hdb

/dev/hdb:
 setting 32-bit IO_support flag to 1
 setting multcount to 16
 setting using_dma to 1 (on)
 HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted
 setting xfermode to 66 (UltraDMA mode2)
 setting drive write-caching to 1 (on)
 multcount    = 16 (on)
 IO_support   =  1 (32-bit)
 using_dma    =  0 (off)

ora sono passato a 4.78 MB/s per hdb e 6.58 MB/s per hda
ma quel using_dma continua a essere off
